Last night saw the conclusion to the Greenhouse programme- a pre-incubator programme from Climate-Kic that offers guidance and seed funding to innovative ideas that address climate change.
The graduates of 2018/19, including heat recovery business- DeWarmte and coconut husk wood- CoirWood, presented their projects to 7 budding entrepreneurial start-ups including calcium carbonate capture from mussels - MadeByMussels and iron phosphate recovery from water sludge- ViviMag.
In a relaxed cermony, the new start-ups voted for their favourite and we are proud to announce that the Circular Coffee Project was awarded with a super large bottle of Cava and claimed the unofficial title of ‘Most Promising Start-Up’ !
Thanks to all those at Climate-Kic. We wish the new start-ups on the programme lots of success!
